Well, For the first time that I can rememeber I am wearing some size 14's. Now I never ever thought this would happen again. I still cant believe it- I went shopping monday two weeks ago and I bought a pair of pants size 14 and a jumper size 14. Now I thought this was jsut a one of. But as I have shrunk and my clothes have grown I have had to buy a few more clothes. I was sick of the awful back pain and bounce I was getting from my bra's that were too large so I went and bought a new bra on sunday- the 14dd fitted, but I have previuosly owned the same style before and it stretches a fair bit at the start and I like my bra to firmly hold me so I ended up with the 12E.
I have also talked before about going out for my husband 30th birthday and my Gran's 80th. So I needed outfits for these and jeans were falling off my and tops were exposing my breasts- not in a good way either!. So I once again went shopping and fell in love with a shirt in Myer- Wayne Cooper on a clearence rack and a fantstic price (trust me I am a cheap skate!)- size 14- fits perfectly! definatly wouldnt want it any bigger. I then needed the black pants to go with them- also on special, from target- size 14, and a jacket- I searched high and low and do you think I could find a long sleeve black, casual but going out jacket- not on your luck!!- unless you wanted to spend $99- and if I knew I wouldnt change size again- I would, but still got another 5kg at least to lose if not 10, so decided against it- and just dont have that cash at the moment. So I bought one, but have left the tags on- might return it yet and see if I can borrow from someone else- I love the jacket really do but it is 3/4 sleeve and had really hoped for a long sleeve, simply for the warmth factor. Black size 14!! yet again I fitted a size 14!, I was shocked, the 16 was just baggy- the 12 even went on but a bit too tight around the arms if I want to move while out.
So now in my wardrobe I have a range of clothing in size 16 that is just too baggy and falling off me- often even with the belt, and 3 pairs of size 14 pants and 2 size 14 tops and a size 14 jacket- that I will probably return.
Oh on another happy note, while in target my friend was looking for some new sandals and I litterally tripped- seriuosly, wasnt watchign what I was doing Bel was being a pain and I feel over a pair of shoes- I picked them up and thought I really like them- size 9 so I tried them on- they fitted perfectly- and looked beautiful, I inspected them further- leather upper- good, nice size heal- good, would suit my saturday night outift perfectly- good, clearence tag on them, $28.30- I ummed and arhed- target had 20% off shoes, so I found a price check, scanned it....$15.08c Amazing!!!! Needleess to say, I now own them and my saturday night outfit is complete and I have a beautiful pair of black heals added to my wardrobe! and leather as well- original price- $49.99! I felt like Cinderella.
I once again need to go through my wardrobe and get rid of the too big clothes so that I dont creep back into them and I might just do that while wearing in my size 14 jeans and cinderella shoes! |

I really enjoy watching tennis, so would have loved to be going to watch the US Open in Flushing Meadows this week. Like all majors, the atmosphere looks terrific and no doubt this year the battle between the veteran Roger Federer and the new number one Rafael Nadal is going to be on!
And if I was going, I would definitely pick up one of these cute T-Shirts designed by Heidi Klum.

It is made of 100% Organic Cotton Jersey, grown using methods and materials that have a low-impact on the environment. And a portion of all proceeds will go to a non-profit organization which maintains and preserves the Flushing Meadows-Corona Park. Heidi apparently came up with the design using her children's crayons. Very cute!

Deciding what shoes to wear out can often be a confusing process. It might be hot but showers are predicted, so you figure you have to wear something covered in or your feet will get wet. Or you might want to wear something comfortable to get to your destination, then change into something more appropriate when you arrive.
Well, a company called Nat-2 has found a solution! With one zip, you can transform your shoe to a sandal.

All the shoes are interchangeable so you can combine colours, materials and styles.
The German designers K&T say 'By taking one base and various tops you can save weight and gain more space while travelling the world.' Sounds like a great idea! It's a lot easier to fit the thin canvas top in your bag than carrying around another pair of shoes (as I often do!). I will definitely be keeping my eye out for them to see how practical (and attractive) they are in real life.

Hey everyone, I got the best bargain yesterday, better than those bra and underwear sales they have in a big building for so many days.
I currently use the Berlei New Legends Sports Bra for working out (plus some daily wear) and I originally paid $50 for it at Bras N Things. Well I went to Dimmey's yesterday at lunch (so I wouldn't miss out) after seeing the catalogue and got 2 more of the New Legends Sports Bra in blue and green plus another berlei sports bra all for $50 total :)
The New Legends Bras were down to $15 each and the other one was $19 from $34.99. I probably didn't need the 3 but who cares at that price :) |

It's official - our cleavage is more important to us than a visible panty line!
A poll conducted recently by Debenhams, a British department store, asked 3,000 of their customers about their fashion favourites. The push-up bra came up number 1, with almost 20 per cent of the vote. Other favourites were the boot cut jean (definitely flattering for most body shapes), the strapless bra and trainer socks.
Here is the top 20:
- Push-up bra
- Boot cut jeans
- Pull-in pants
- Stilettos
- LBD (Little black dress)
- Hipster jeans
- Mini skirt
- Strapless bra
- Support tights
- Kitten heels
- Stockings
- Sports bra
- G-string
- Flip flops (thongs for Aussie/NZ's)
- Chicken fillets (the ones that go inside your bra!)
- Pencil skirts
- Hot pants
- Boy-shorts
- Trainer socks
- Comfortable trainers
It's amazing, when you look over this list you realise how much we take for granted. There is no way our grandmothers would have been walking about with comfortable trainers and socks, their hipster jeans and a push-up bra! Trousers weren't even an acceptable option for women in the past.

Caroline Adams of Debenhams sums it up well. "Fashion items that can help create the perfect silhouette have become must-have items for women and there is no shame in faking the body beautiful." If it's available to us, why not feel good about ourselves. So girls, grab your push-up bras and your stilettos, and go get 'em!

London's summer social season is always started in style with the races at Royal Ascot. The women take advantage of the warmer days, bringing out their finery and of course, their latest head wear creations. We thought we would show you of few of the standout pieces.
I am definitely tossing up between "blue loo" and "simply blue...as in cheese" as my favourites for fashions on the field.

The funny thing is, it's obvious that a lot of time and also money has gone in to these creations. I guess five minutes of fame is more important to these women than good taste!
