What food or drink could you never give up?

Betalife's picture

Despite us knowing better, there are some things we just can't give up, no matter how bad they are for us! Of course, the best way to deal with these foods or drinks is by having them in moderation. Depriving yourself usually has the opposite effect - you end up craving them more.

So what are the foods or drinks that you could never give up? Have you managed to only have them in moderation, or are you still addicted?

I don't really know of any food or drink that I could never give up. It depends on the circumstances that I feel anything could be forgone for the sake of health and wellbeing.

For me, it's coffee, I just love it! And I've become hooked on a couple of the "fancy" coffees on offer at Gloria Jeans, but I limit myself to those only once or twice a week. Apart from that I have one coffee each morning at breakfast time. My other weakness is cheese, I could eat it every day and I just love all the types of cheeses out there, I have to be really careful not to go overboard.

Coffee- have tried so many times to stop drinking it or have decaf but i always end up still drinking it each and every day.
Have now managed to stop craving sausage rolls (took 6 months)- visualisation helped with that (imagined biting into it then realising it was full of magotts- YUCK!!)
