Hi! I hope everyone is doing well with their eating and exercise this week.

I unfortunately had a death in the family so had to go away for a while, but am back and feeling renewed again. Sometimes sad occasions in families are the only time we all reconnect, and we have done that over the past week so its nice to know there are sometimes positives out of bad situations. I think I needed a bit of that, and somehow feel a lot more grounded or something. Anyway, time to move forward and focus on making sure I am healthy. I also realise how much we take our health for granted until it is too late. I don't want to wake up one day wishing I made different choices, so am so glad I found Betalife and got started when I did. I can see it is going to make a big difference to the quality of my future.

On less serious notes, I had the most beautiful salad at lunch today! It was with goats cheese which I love, plenty of walnuts and other delicious things. I never thought I would get so excited by a salad! Ha ha. Before I would have just got a burger meal and although I would have thought it tasted good, it just leaves you feeling a bit sick.

Exercise slipped last week, but thats ok. I am going to go for a walk now, with lots of hills but also have to remember to get back into it slowly.
