Been Quiet

Have been quiet for the last couple of weeks.  A couple of reasons, once again I've been sick - I have enormouse sinus problems that lead to infections everytime a cold even looks at me!  Anyways, after a barrage of drugs I'm on the mend.  Of course this again has affected my abiility to exercise.  And adding to all of this i"ve had something on every weekend for the last few weeks.  Anyway, I'm back, but am still to weigh myself.

I have ordered the Gabrielle method.  I downloaded the first 3 chapters and it looks like it could be very useful - I hope so.  I still spend most of my days obsessed with food and hungry and I'm wondering if this book may help me move forward from this.

Anyways, will keep posting and let you know my progress.

Here's hoping for a few weeks of good health! Smiling

Which suppressants have you tried? I've tried some of the more commercial ones and they haven't worked. I'm not much good with meal replacements either. I do drink loads of water and try to have fruit also. I wonder sometimes if the medications I'm on make me hungry too. Maybe that would be a good question for the pharmacist. Thanks for your suggestions!

Hi Lou
I know it is not much fun being sick and keeping the motivation levels up. Just try not to worry about it too much. It will happen.

Sorry to hear you've been unwell.

Have you tried appetite suppressants for your constant thinking about food. I find when im feeling like that, that they really help. There is a natural one on the market now. I ended up going to my chemist for help, and he put me onto it. I find suppressants brilliant for when im feeling a bit weak.

Also drinking lots of water helps fill you up. When im peckish between meals, i have a glass of water first, and then if im still hungry ill have some fruit.

I hope you get over your sickness and can concentrait on reaching your goal. I think the book will help you move past your food issues, it did for me so it made it easy for me to stick to the betalife principles.
Good luck and keep us updated
