The Secret Diet of Angel Miranda Kerr

When you hear the words “Victoria’s Secret Angel” – it immediately conjures up the image of a gorgeous, sassy woman who is genetically blessed. And that is exactly how I would describe Miranda Kerr.

Miranda is a dazzling young woman with a string of successes under her belt. Not only has she had a spectacular modeling career, but she is also interested in nutrition and is writing a book for teenage girls called “Treasure Yourself”.
 

 

 

So what does Miranda do to keep this fabulous body? Here is a typical day in the life of the Angel from Cosmopolitan Magazine:

Breakfast: Every morning, Miranda drinks water with lemon and vinegar to detox her system. For breakfast, she'll have green tea, fresh fruit salad with yoghurt and muesli or two pieces of rye toast with avocado and boiled eggs.

Lunch: Miranda stocks up on protein at lunchtime. Fresh tuna salad with spelt crispbread, plus more water and dandelion tea keep her going even on long shoots.

Dinner: Miranda steers clear of potatoes, but says that she indulges in roasted vegetables like sweet potato, pumpkin and greens with her dinner. Usually, she'll have some protein - salmon, fish, lamb chops or steak - with salad or roasted vegetables.

Fitness: A self-confessed 'health nut', she runs, boxes and does strength training with a personal trainer. She also practises yoga daily.

Indulgences: Dark chocolate Lindt balls.

So you do have to eat well and work out a lot to stay slim and look so good! But lucky for us mere mortals, we are not required to strut our stuff in front of millions in a lingerie show, so we are definitely allowed a lot more balance! Regardless of this, Miranda definitely has a really great diet (I wonder if she knows the BetaLife secrets!) and she has a very healthy attitude to life.

She looks good and yes only 3 meals a day.

I noticed that Miranda only has 3 meals a day. Not 6 like some diets advocate.

Obviously Miranda was lucky in the genetic department with her good looks and body.

What she eats looks very healthy - lots of protein and lower in carbs and good fats in the eggs and avocado.
