Is Spearole the new slimming tea that actually works?

(Source)

Weight loss may be as simple as drinking three cups of tea a day, according to a new study. Sounds unbelievable right? Well, let’s get a couple of facts straight.

First of all, the research is a little more promising than a lot of so called “slimming teas” which have quite a bad reputation. This new weight loss weapon is actually a variation on Green Tea, which has already shown to have positive effects on weight loss. It’s called Spearole Tea, and is made from a blend of green tea, spearmint, grape seed and olive leaf.

The downside is that the study was funded by the manufacturer of Spearole. Here are the results:

Researcher Dr Brown, a pharmacologist at the Queensland University, studied the effect of the tea on a selection of rats.

They started off healthy, but were then fed a high fat and sugar diet for the next 8 weeks. Naturally, this caused the amount of fat around their bellies to increase (it actually doubled) and the rat’s blood pressure also increased.

However when the Spearole Tea was added to their diet, their waist levels and blood pressure went back to normal, despite the fact they were still on their unhealthy diet.

It is thought the tea works by preventing the fat cells from releasing inflammatory chemicals that attract more fat. The olive and grape components of the tea are likely to have a similar effect, while the spearmint is just adding to the flavour.

Dr Brown said the results were: “Simply amazing.”

It does sound too good to be true. But with those ingredients, the tea should have some positive benefits to your health. The weight loss in humans though, remains to be seen.

I've been drinking this tea for almost two weeks and no change in weight yet but I have noticed a big decrease in appetite. You get used to the taste eventually...

A good tip

A good tip - Spearole is also lovely and refreshing as an Iced tea in summer and I find it takes away that dry taste that it has as a hot tea. I just brew it normally in a cup, then pour it over a glass filled with ice and then top it with cold water. I have been drinking it for a few weeks, albeit not religiously I must admit, and have found it keeps hunger pangs at bay. It also makes me need to urinate alot so I guess it's flushing out my sluggish system. It also has other benefits so even if it doesn't help you lose weight, it will help you in other ways (eg. blood pressure and antioxidants). I got mine direct from Dr Red on Mt Nebo.

Has anyone had any success in losing weight with the Spearole Tea? I would be interested to discover whether it works or not.

You can by it at most health food stores, i bought some from healthy life at garden city, brisbane. It only cost $25 but it took me a week to get it because they were completely sold out along with the healthy life stores at browns plains and hyperdome.

So you can get it from Terry White chemists eh? I'll have to have a look next time im near one. $25 tho, bit rich. It would want to work for that price.

Well, now I have been drinking Spearole Teas for a week now, and so far I have not lost any weight, how ever I have not gained either. I suppose that is a good thing, I have noticed My appetite has decreased, still not fussed on the flavour, but it is bearable. I guess it will take a few weeks before I start to lose any weight. and if I don't at least I will be healthier.

I bought My tea at Terry White Chemist at Kuraby shopping centre Brisbane for those who have been unable to locate it, you can buy it directly online. at Dr Red just google, and it comes up. it is around the $25.00 mark which is fairly cheap for a weight loss product.

Spearole Tea

I saw an article in our local paper and was extremely interested to try this new tea - as I am with any new weight loss bizzo!.
I bought some through Dr Red Nutraceuticals (on the net) and it arrived a couple of days ago ($24.50 for 1 x 150 gm pack leaf tea - not cheap for tea but bloody cheap if it works!!) I imagine health food shops will have it asap as the couple I asked had already received quite a few enquiries.
Very pleasant and refreshing taste (don't make it too strong or brew it too long, it gets a bit bitter).
Well, fingers crossed - will report any results and look forward to seeing anyone else's comments.
Cheers - let this be the holy grail of weight loss assistance!!!

It not a bad tasting tea as far as green tea goes, we're all giving it a go here at our office which is a bit of fun really and hopefully it will actually work.

Hi there,

I googled and found a web site at www.drred.com.au. It asks you to type your post code and then it gives you the nearest stockists. They are mostly in pharmacies. Hope this helps.

Spearole Tea

Dr Red's website gives a 'search by postcode' facility.
Terry White pharmacies have it (my local Noosa shop does).
