Well thought I might start a blog finally. I've been back for a few weeks now but pretty much keeping a low profile. I don't get a whole lot of time to be writing in a blog but I'll do my best to come and update as often as I can.
I'm an oldie coz I've been a member of BetaLife for over 2 1/2 years however I must confess that I only really followed the plan for a few months before I thought I knew better. I had always kept my membership (thank goodness!) and occasionally I would drop in on the site, but couldn't get myself motivated. Tried a few other diets in the meantime, lost heaps of weight, put heaps of weight back on. My best and definitely not my proudest weight loss/gain story is that I lost 13 kilos between July & December last year and then between January and May this year managed to put 9 of that back on. My poor body.
And I'm a goodie coz my main reason for coming back to BetaLife is that I have decided that I'm sick of the fad diets (about time too) and just so badly want to learn to eat correctly and not feel like ???? because I can't stick to anything.
So I've started watching the videos again. I'm taking it slowly and really making sure I understand everything I'm doing and trying to achieve and getting all the steps in place before I move onto the next week's video. I don't care if it takes me 2 months to get through all the videos as long as I'm making progress in my head and sticking to my goals and doing all the action steps.
I look forward to getting round to reading a few other blogs and 'meeting' a few of you.

Glenys we are so thrilled to have you back and ready to move forward! We aren't concerned about how long it takes, the main thing is that you are mentally ready to make these changes. The lessons learnt over the past couple of years (OK, over our lifetime!) are really important steps, and usually needed in order to appreciate what you want from your life. You are at the stage where you do not need to know how to lose 10kgs, you need to understand more about yourself and what makes you feel good. It is this that will lead you to long term weight loss, good health and happiness.
So be grateful for all of the tools that you now have, you know what you want and we will all do everything we can to make sure you succeed!! We are all here for you, so please utilise all our support. We all know what you are going through, as although our paths may have been slightly different, we all just want to feel good.
Take the program one step at a time, it is not a race. We know your mind and your life will change, its an exciting journey.
We wish you all the very best, and cannot wait to share in your brand new journey and all of your success!

It is so interesting to read about everyone's stories. You sound like you are in a good place now so don't worry about anythign else, just try to concentrate on being you now and you will do fine!
I am like you, don't care how long it takes to go through the videos, I just want to GET IT! I think once you do, its going to make things easy for us forever.
