I doodle a special poem for the anninversary of my late wifes death this was last years special doodle

Sparkling angel help us please
need somehow to find our belief
your strength and courage we`ve lost somehow
we just don't know what to do right now

Somehow we`ve managed to get this far
living on memories and healing our scars
I hope we've done you very proud
our sparkling angel up in the cloud

How can we love an angel from here
she`s never there but always near
close by my side watching her brood
seeing us all so proud we`ve stood

Give us please our angel my sweet
a little more of what we seek
to make you proud of us each day
as we walk in your sparkling spray

INVISIBLE

...INVISIBLE...

Cannot see through it, cannot smell it
but oh my god I can feel it
a little thing called belief
gives me hope and relief

Same goes for many things invisible to many
if only we could bottle it, smiles would be plenty
everyone has the inner sight
of that shining invisible light

How do we capture this invisible light
we wonder and think, day and night
I have found that invisible light
inner strength through my fight

Can't remember when or where
maybe because it was always there
hiding inside each of us
an invisible light from dawn till dusk

GLOWING

...GLOWING...

An angel past my way before
and looked at me and saw me sore
it soothed and melted all the pain
and now I'm left glowing again

It touched me gently with it's angel wings
to remember a loved one and all those things
it can't cure what's left behind
glowing embers in my mind

I'm glowing inside can feel it's effects
feeling on air and not needing my spex
just day to day stuff that we all take for granted
I got a glow from a loved one that's departed

Thanks for sharing with us Robert. It seems writting poems is an outlet a lot of us turn to when we lose a loved one.

I know I wrote all sorts of things when Josh died, most of them he would have laughed his head off at me for. They are shockers but they came straight from my heart and at the time I obviously needed to get it all out and that was how it came out for me even if it wasn't very good. *lol*

...ANGELS...

Angels upstairs wear their wings
look down on us and joy they bring
flying high and sprinkling some magic
on us people that's life was tragic

Spreading a smile and some good luck too
the angels are watching over me and you
you may not think it at the time
but soon you'll feel so divine

So don't forget on the worst of dayz
these angels look with an awesome gaze
at your heart and soul inside
magic dust they leave behind
