Over the rainbow the angels look out
for our never ending doubt
they show us were fickle and were frail
life sometimes is a winding trail

It has no exits and no maps
knows no limits and has no gaps
our angel's wings we stay beside
the rainbows glow it always hides

Our rainbow inside helps us to follow
when others seem to beg, steal or borrow
try to trust your instincts don't doubt
or the rainbow inside will dim out

Beyond our sight there's an awesome light
looks at us and sees our might
to plough through our daily grind
never knowing what we will find

It's a test of human endurance
and it gives self assurance
we get it right nearly every day
forget mistakes we made on the way

See this light so bright and bold
never let's you feel the cold
always warm this light that shines
casts no shadow and has no lines

Cannot see through it, cannot smell it
but oh my god I can feel it
a little thing called belief
gives me hope and relief

Same goes for many things invisible to many
if only we could bottle it, smiles would be plenty
everyone has the inner sight
of that shining invisible light

How do we capture this invisible light
we wonder and think, day and night
I have found that invisible light
inner strength through my fight

Can't remember when or where
maybe because it was always there
hiding inside each of us
an invisible light from dawn till dusk

It's human to want the very best
for our offspring and the rest
to be perfect is our aim
forgetting life is no game

Lessons we learn every day
when to go and where to stay
crossing obstacles in our paths
doubting thoughts and endless laughs

Were only human after all
whether slim or even small
life is tough it twists and turnz
not wanting our fingerz to get burned

being human we all need

What makes a person want to die
sick of living I wonder why
I can often see their point of view
but I'm a survivor what about you

Remember your loved ones no matter how far
coz they really matter..not the tabz in the jar
or maybe it cuts you deep inside
the knife in the kitchen you try to hide

so please dont die....dont dispair
some one that loves you will always be there
maybe in spirit or just in your thoughts
dotting the "i"`s and crossing the "noughts"

when my grandad died, i wrote this up for my grandma so she can remember to never give up.

Life

There will be bad days for sure,
of course there'll be good days and many more.
There will be moments when all you do is cry,
and those sweet times when your hearts in the sky.
No matter what happens or how hard life seems,
make room in your heart to believe in your dreams.

sadly we lost my grandma last month. but one thing i will remember her by is how much she fought her ailing health. right till the end.

R.I.P my dear sweet grandma 07/05/1940 - 19/08/2008
