About BetaLife.com

BetaLife.com is a free community based diet website. The site offers fully personalized weight loss plans with support and motivation from other members.

Brother and sister Renee and Benn Newton established BetaLife.com in 1999 after losing 23kg/51 lbs and 34kg/75 lbs respectively. The innovative siblings created a DVD based weight loss program that sold for hundreds of dollars, but is now offered completely free online.

The site was designed to "make weight loss make sense" and the growing obesity epidemic is cited as a top reason why they made the site free. BetaLife.com members include two former contestants from The Biggest Loser TV show.
